Police believe the remains are those of Shanteria Mosley, known to friends and family as “KT,” according to a Sept. 25 news release. The department did not announce a confirmed identification.
Bradley was already charged with concealing the death of another, police said.
What happened: Detectives executing a search warrant on the vehicle Sept. 25 discovered garbage bags in the trunk. After observing what appeared to be the outline of a body part, they contacted the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office before opening the bags.
The bags were opened after the medical examiner arrived, confirming the presence of human remains, police said.
What’s next: Police said the homicide investigation, which dates to Sept. 23, remains active and detectives are following up on leads. The release did not provide a cause of death or additional details about the circumstances.
